Takavitz Joins Bengals
CINCINNATI, Ohio — University of Cincinnati offensive lineman Kyle Takavitz has signed a free agent contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, becoming the 10th senior from the 2004 University of Cincinnati football team to join the NFL Football.
The 6-4, 311-pound native of Powell, Ohio earned first team All-Conference USA honors in each of the past two seasons and was named to the watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Award. - Nfl Football
Takavitz was a three-year starter, serving as UC’s left guard in 2002 before moving to left tackle for the 2003 and 2004 campaigns. A two-time team co-captain, he closed his career with a streak of 38 starts.
